The Truth About Mental Health: How Society's Stress Is Taking a Toll

Read our disclaimer statement here

I'm going to level with you.

We are experiencing a mental health crisis that started years ago and it is growing rapidly. The stats on mental health are not getting any better. And you and I both know, stats don't tell the complexity of the human experience.

Mental health-related conditions are on the rise and have been for years, but now it's really on the rise. Our bodies have been experiencing anticipatory stress (amidst other symptoms too) now for over 2 years and they are suffering.

Bodies and minds don't tend to do too well when they constantly have high levels of stress hormones and it can affect every major life area.

There is no "if we need support" anymore...now it's "when we need support".

We all need support at some point, whether through professional help or a supportive community that holds you up on the dark days.

Here's where we stand here at Bloom.

I'm not someone to stand by on the sidelines and watch. Kind of why I opened this company.

So here at Bloom, we are going to do what we can, where we can, and respond rather than react to the needs of our beautiful community.

We help you break the stress cycle, stop negative habits, and feel empowered to tell your story with vulnerability and courage through counselling, therapy, education, and coaching.

We will be providing our readers, subscribers, and followers strategies, tools, stories, and conversations about mental health to let you know how we are here to support you.

You don't have to do this alone.

We humans were not made for that.

Uber-independence is a trauma response, not a long-term sustainable solution.

I've been doing this work for 14 years now, and collectively in our clinic, we have over 60 years of experience supporting people with their health and wellness. And we know some amazing professionals outside of our clinic we can help you connect to if you need.

So I'm getting to work.

To help you rest, recover, and restore your story, break negative patterns, and feel more peace and joy again.

Many clients who started seeing me in 2020 are still in remission (i.e. maintaining changes) from the symptoms that brought them to therapy. And we did all that amidst the chaos of the last two years. They are now changing their worlds and supporting their communities in a beautiful way.

That can be you too.

We've got options to support you. Healing from oppression means having the power to choose what fits your life and needs: 👇
